NUR 201B Advanced Medical-Surgical Practice

The fourth course in the lab series. Applies theory from the didactic portion of the curriculum to nursing practice experiences in simulation and direct client care in a variety of settings. Continues to build on safe application of skills and principles from previous terms while assuming care of clients with more advanced medical-surgical problems. Focuses on collaboration and coordination of care while beginning to evaluate and modify nursing care plans. Required: Admission to Nursing program.
