Academic Appeals
Online students who think that the final course grade is incorrect, have two weeks (10 working days) after the grade is issued to appeal their grade. Students who feel that a grade earned in a class activity is incorrect, have one week (five working days) to appeal a grade that has been issued. Online students are encouraged to discuss grade issues immediately with their instructor. If a satisfactory resolution is not achieved after consultation with the instructor, the online student needs to discuss the issue with the division chair as part of an informal process.
