Personal Computer Software Specialist Specialization, Associate in Applied Science
This specialization focuses on current microcomputer application software most commonly utilized in business and industry. Instruction is provided in database management, spreadsheets, word-processing, presentation graphics, web software tools, basic network and LAN functionality, data integration, and data security. Three stackable certificates can be completed en-route to earning the A.A.S. degree. An Occupational Skills award is also included in the curriculum. The capstone and cooperative courses are intended to allow students to demonstrate skills attained and to complete an internship experience prior to entry into the workforce.
