Swimming Pool Rules
In order to use the LC swimming pool, students and employees must present a valid LC ID. Laredo College is NOT responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost/stolen items.
Priorities for use are:
i) Kinesiology classes
ii) Intercollegiate Athletics
iii) Campus Recreation Activities
iv) Students/Employees
All participants are required to wear appropriate clothing and adhere to the rules of each facility.
Spouse/dependents of college employees are allowed to use the facilities when not in use by instructional classes or organized Campus Recreation Activities, but must present proper ID. Dependents younger than 18 years must be accompanied by their sponsoring LC employee at all times.
In addition:
a) Proper swim wear is required.
b) Shower required before entering pool.
c) No swimming allowed without lifeguard on duty.
d) No alcohol, drugs, or tobacco allowed.
e) No glass containers permitted.
f) No gum, candy, food, drinks (with the exception of bottled water), or Band-Aid’s in the pool.
g) No diving, running, or horseplay allowed.
h) Obey lifeguard at all times.
Any exceptions require the approval of the chair/director/coach of the fitness facility.
