PSYC 322 Perception
Perception examines human sensory and perceptual systems in detail. The course covers: 1) the historical foundations and philosophical significance of the study of perception; 2) contemporary research methods in perception; 3) the types of physical stimuli sensed by humans and the physiology of sensory systems; 4) the role of perception in psychological science, especially with respect to the organization and assimilation of information from the senses; and 5) practical applications of knowledge about human perception.
