HIST 265 Modern Jewish History
A survey of the Jewish experience in modern times which focuses primary attention on developments in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, and analyzes such issues as the process of Jewish emancipation, the rise of political anti-Semitism and the Holocaust, the Zionist movement and the emergence of the state of Israel.
