IDWGS 3291 WOMEN’S AND GENDER STUDIES INTERNSHIP
Career-related placement at an organization, business, or nonprofit entity related to Women’s and Gender Studies. The internship provides students with first-hand training, workplace exposure, and practical application of their knowledge and skills. Placements may involve activities such as research, advocacy, program development, or community outreach focused on gender equity and social justice. Assignments and placements are arranged by the Office of Career Services and must be approved by the Women’s and Gender Studies Program Coordinator. Course can be offered as a Travellearn for groups doing internships abroad or out of state.
Notes: Approved Petition Required via an Experiential Learning Agreement in College Central. See your Career Advisor for assistance. May be repeated for 3 credits total, if eligible. Can be used for Travellearn.
