Concepts and practices of programming in the Unix/Linux environment. Topics include Unix/Linux operating system concepts, commands, file systems, processes, environment variables, scheduling, and system tools; design and development of automated applications using scripting and compiled languages; and integration of Linux programs with web interfaces and applications.
