OT 6552 ADMINISTRATION AND ADVOCACY
Students will learn to manage occupational therapy service provision to promote quality care in accordance with laws, regulations, state occupational therapy practice acts, and accreditation guidelines to protect consumers and meet applicable reimbursement requirements in relation to service delivery settings. This includes advocacy and risk management techniques at individual and service levels and managing the professional development activities and competency assessment task professional activities tasks using evidence-based strategies.
