Fine Arts, M.A.: Studio Option
Program Description:
The Master of Arts in Fine Arts: Studio Option is 33-credit program designed for artists and art education professionals interested in pursuing advanced work in the studio art. The program provides a means of practicing artists to prepare for personal entrepreneurship and for art educators qualify for increased earnings. Exciting areas of Specialization include drawing, painting, printmaking, jewelry/metals, textiles, photography, ceramics, sculpture, computer art, and furniture, among others. Many school districts provide financial support for teachers who wish to pursue this advanced degree.
Admissions Requirements:
In addition to the University’s admission requirements:
- 30 semester hours of acceptable fine art courses on the undergraduate level
- Departmental portfolio review

- Graduate exhibition
