The Learning Commons (LC) provides Writing support and Public Speaking services to the diverse community of writers and speakers who make up the student body, faculty, and staff. The services foster best practices in writing across the disciplines, and serves as a place for public speaking and skills development to take place. Appointments for on-site sessions are scheduled using Tutor-Trac and can be made on-line, in person, or over the phone. On-line access to writing and public speaking services are also available through TutorTrac. Students may schedule appointments and discuss their work with a coach via Zoom. Presentations and workshops are offered each semester to help share knowledge of writing and public speaking.
