MUS 3412 BRASS PEDAGOGY 2
This course explores the development of brass instruments over the past five centuries and includes a detailed study of effective teaching and performing practices for brass instruments. Special emphasis will be given to the assessment of habits and abilities, possible liabilities, and/or special needs of the intermediate and advanced-level student. Prerequisite(s): Music major with principal instrument of brass, completion of MUS 2412, and permission of the instructor.
