Program Description

The Master of Public Administration program is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA). This concentration prepares students for managerial careers in the public sector. The primary focus of the curriculum is in-service students seeking to undertake graduate work on a part-time basis. The curriculum is also useful to pre-service students with a Bachelor's degree looking for training to enter the public service. 

Degree Requirements

  • 45-48 credits
  • 33 credits in required courses (3 credit internship may be waived for students with appropriate managerial/professional experience)
  • 3 credits in General Public Management required courses
  • 12 credits electives
