ES 1101 INTRODUCTION TO EARTH AND GEOGRAPHICAL SYSTEMS

A study of the earth system from the perspective of a coupled natural and human system. Examination of the physical nature of the system components and their interactions. Fundamental skills in observation, visualization, quantitative methods for diagnosis and prediction of impacts. (3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab) This course is not equivalent to ES 1000. Prerequisite: MATH 1000 Major requirement for B.S. in Earth Science and Sustainability Science
