ENV 3230 URBAN ECOLOGY
An examination of ecological process in human-dominated landscapes from the scientific, historical and cultural perspectives. Human influence on, and response to, natural systems is emphasized. Readings from the primary literature are used to illustrate current research trends and methodologies. This course is equivalent to SUST 3330 and is a major elective for Biology Majors(B.S.) in the School of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences who are on the Environmental Biology track (3hr.lecture).
