EMT 225 Medical Emergencies Clinical
(Contact Hours: 6) This course is designed around patient care experiences in a variety of clinical settings providing students opportunity to treat patients with a variety of medical conditions. Patient encounters provide students supervised experience managing different disease pathologies. Special consideration is given to the challenges presented by multiple and chronic medical conditions. This course is to be taken concurrently with EMT 221. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of EMT 231, EMT 235, EMT 241, and EMT 245 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: EMT 221, EMT 251, and EMT 255.
