Overview
The audio video technician advanced certificate prepares students for entry-level work in the audio-visual field. The curriculum is balanced between theory and hands-on training of all types of audio-visual equipment. Graduates acquire a strong background in electronics, as well as hands-on training in equipment operation for audio networking, system installation, and acoustical testing. This certificate is intended for students who have completed a degree or diploma in audio production or are currently employed in field. Students taking this certificate are expected to have extensive existing knowledge of audio production.

A strong attention to detail is needed as its very common to be follow system drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
