ENGC2100 Basic Creo Parametric
This course is designed to give students hands-on experience using Parametric Technology's fully associative mechanical design automation software Creo Parametric (formerly Pro/ENGINEER). This feature-based, solid modeling program will be used to create parts, assemblies, and drawings.

Utilize user interface
Create internal and external sketches
Create extruded features
Create revolved features
Utilize reference geometry
Apply engineering features (holes, chamfers, rounds, ribs, shells, etc.)
Create sweep features
Create patterns
Manage feature relationships
Create detail drawings with dimensions and annotations
Create assemblies
Create assembly drawings
Capture design intent of a project

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty-two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals. Refer to the Credit Details section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
