SFE 331 Machine Learning Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
This course bridges the theory and practice of machine learning as the foundation for artificial intelligence. Includes the essential mathematical concepts that power machine learning while implementing algorithms in Python to study their behavior. Emphasis is placed on building practical experience on how training, error propagation, and design choices affect performance, reliability, and interpretability of a modern AI application. Includes ethical reflection and critical evaluation of modern AI applications.
