POL 3230 CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

This course introduces students to American constitutional law and the U.S. Supreme Court. Students will learn about the court's history, the decision-making process, the justices, constitutional interpretation and how to read cases. The course then uses a case study approach to examine the Court's decisions in areas such as federalism, presidential power and property rights. Special emphasis is placed on current debates and controversies.
