HST 1200 UNRULY ORIGINS: US TO 1865 (NC)
This course surveys major developments in early U.S. history from prior to European contact through the end of the Civil War, with an emphasis on the contested and contingent nature of the American experience. It also explores the implications of these formative struggles for Americans after 1865. This course offers the same national themes as HST 121 but with more attention to how they played out in a North Carolina context.
