Secondary and K-12 Licensure Programs

The student planning to teach at the high school level completes a major in a discipline and the necessary professional studies courses for teacher licensure at the secondary level (grades 9-12).

Secondary education licensure is available in comprehensive science, English, history/social studies and mathematics. Specific requirements for each program are listed with the appropriate department in this catalog. In general, the following professional studies courses must be satisfactorily completed:
