CHM 332 PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY I
The mathematical development of the physical principles of chemistry is the main theme of the course. Topics to be addressed include the development and application of the laws of thermodynamics, equations of state, kinetic molecular theory, elementary electrochemistry, equilibria and basic/complex kinetics. Laboratory experiments are designed to complement lectures and may include studies of gas laws, calorimetry and kinetics.Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab per week.
