POLS 305 Political Theory

Examines, evaluates and possibly alters students' personal value commitments through an exposure to varying political theories that have been adopted in addressing persistent political problems. Topics such as: political associations,the role of politics in personal growth, competing theories of justice; liberalism; conservatism; feminism; freedom and self-actualization, representation, social cohesion; the idea of moral communities are all theories covered in this class.
