SPED 430 Assessing & Teaching Mathematics to Diverse Learners

Candidates learn to assess and teach mathematics to diverse learners. Candidates provide multi-sensory instruction that moves from the concrete to the abstract and utilize formative assessment data (including error analysis) to make instructional decisions. A special focus will be on addressing underlying basic concepts while meeting grade level competencies.
