POLS 305 Political Theory
Examines, evaluates and possibly alters students' personal value commitments through an exposure to varying positions that have been adopted in addressing persistent problems in political theory. Topics such as the obligation a person owes to political associations; the role of politics in personal growth, competing theories of justice; liberalism; conservatism; feminism; freedom and self-actualization, representation, social cohesion; the idea of moral communities.
