Disability Services

In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the American with Disabilities Act of 1940 (ADA), Elizabeth City State University has a program designed to protect the rights of post-secondary students with disabilities. Special Needs Services will provide the following to students who have on file a documented disability/disabilities: disability-related counseling, consultation for accommodations during enrollment at ECSU, reasonable accommodations, and accommodation(s) notifications to instructors. Consultation services regarding accommodations are provided to prospective students and, upon request, to all ECSU students.
