PA 5290 Clinical Pharmacology I

This course is the first of a two-course sequence (Spring, Summer) in clinical pharmacology. During this course sequence, students will receive systems-based education on patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management across the life span. Clinical Pharmacology I addresses the principles of: routes of administration, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicology, drug classes, and disease management. The systems that will be included in semester 2 include: Dermatologic, Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Throat, Pulmonary, Hematologic, Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal, Infectious Diseases and Endocrine - 16 week session. Spring I - Phase I.
