NURS 4030 Pharmacology III
Nutritional pharmacotherapy, polypharmacy, herbal and alternative therapies and their effect upon nutrition and pharmacological interactions are examined. The relationship between the nursing process and quality improvement, root cause analysis, information management tools to support safe processes of care related to medication administration and pharmacotherapeutic interventions, and monitoring outcomes of care and pharmacotherapeutic interventions are addressed - 1 theory hour. A letter grade of ‘C+’ (2.3) or higher is necessary to pass the course. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NURS/
