BIOL 2404 Foundations of Anatomy and Physiology

Course Description

One-semester course of human structure and function (lecture and laboratory). The study of anatomical terminology, structure and function of human anatomy, cell biology, tissues and the integumentary, musculoskeletal, neuroendocrine, cardiovascular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. This course is designed for students pursuing degrees and careers in Occupational Therapy Assistant, Health Information Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Assisting, and Pre-medical Technology. BIOL 2404 is not a substitute for BIOL 2401 or BIOL 2402. Content may be either integrated or specialized. Students should consult with an academic advisor to determine the appropriate Anatomy and Physiology course.
