Transportation Training Services
Del Mar College Transportation Training Services has created an intensive training program to help the Transportation Industry with the high demand for qualified truck drivers and providing individuals with access to better paying jobs.
In just 4 short weeks, students gain knowledge and skills to be able to obtain a class A CDL driver’s license leading to an exciting new career.
After completing the 200-hour program, students will be qualified for entry level positions with some of America's leading Over the Road and Local Carriers.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid TX driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not have more than three moving violations in the past three years on driving record.
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen.

Transportation Training Services: Bus Program
Driving skill for transporting passengers course will cover 80 hours of classroom and driving skills (40 hours of classroom and 40 hours of backing and driving instruction, including the Department of Motor Vehicles driving test).
Requirements:
- Must have a valid TX driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not have more than three moving violations in the past three years on driving record.
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen.

Driving skills for transporting passengers and school buses will be scheduled on demand and equipment availability.
