Course Description
DFTG 1392. SPECIAL TOPICS-PRODUCT DESIGN (2-4-3) Special topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge, and/ or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. An introduction to Product Design and Lean Manufacturing Processes as it relates to Industrial standards. Emphasis is placed on setup; creating and modifying techniques in tool usage as it applies to student centered creative works in prototyping, 5S methodology. Prerequisite: DFTG 1391. Assessment Levels: R2, E1, M2. 15.1301
