AML2600 Introduction to African American Literature
A survey of the African American literary tradition from the eighteenth century to the present as reflected in a variety of oral and written traditions: songs, speeches, poetry, short-fiction, novels, drama, autobiographies, journals and letters. This course contributes to satisfying the Florida State Board of Education Administrative Rule 6A-10.030, College-Level Communication and Computational Skills.
