Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certificate
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is designed for students seeking careers in emergency medicine. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to function within the Emergency Medical Services system. All courses meet or exceed the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment requirements for certification eligibility. All EMT courses must be taken as an emphasis block of instruction as indicated below.
Program Admission Requirements
• National Criminal Background Check with no CCCS Disqualifying Offenses
• 10 panel drug screen (negative all fields)
• Required vaccinations
• Physician clearance letter
Certificate Requirements: 12 credits
