Awarding Reverse Transfer and Prior Credits
Columbus Technical College will evaluate reverse transfer credits as well as prior credits earned each time a new program is approved to evaluate if the student has completed the required coursework to earn the newly approved credential.
Students may be awarded a credential(s) for previously earned credit, within the prescribed timeframe, for any approved program of study, to include newly approved programs that were not in place at the time of the student's enrollment. This is similar to the process of awarding embedded TCCs to students enrolled in a degree, diploma, or longer TCC. These students are not actively enrolled but are awarded these stackable credentials as they are earned.
