Practical Nursing, Diploma PN12
Practical Nurses (LPNs) are a vital part of the healthcare community. They are involved in direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring equipment, changing dressings, preparing food trays, feeding and bathing and managing patients, dressing patients, maintaining patient charts, taking vital signs and pulse rates. Practical Nursing is ideal for you if you are interested in the close, interpersonal aspects of healthcare.
Aside from academic coursework, as a Practical Nursing student, you will receive extensive clinical experience, supervised in area hospitals by the hospital personnel and Columbus Technical College healthcare professionals.
This program prepares you to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing.
