Safety Procedures

The nature of the programs of instruction at Columbus Technical College is such that instructors and students use machinery and tools. For this reason, safety of the individual and others must take a high priority. Each department teaches safety rules and procedures and does not tolerate carelessness, negligence, or improper use of tools, equipment, or machinery. Students must observe all safety rules and regulations. Students must dress appropriately for their area of training. Some areas require uniforms, and some areas use protective devices when applicable.
