New-Student Orientation
All students entering Columbus Technical College for the first time are encouraged to attend the orientation for new students. Orientation is a four-hour program designed to educate new students about the opportunities available at Columbus Technical College. The orientation’s purpose is to acquaint students with campus facilities and services, with College rules and regulations, and to assist students in adjusting to the new academic environment. Each academic department conducts an orientation to introduce new students to department facilities, attendance policies, general operating procedures, financial aid, and other funding sources. Participation in Orientation is critical.
The Library conducts orientations for general library use and other library services throughout each semester.
