Lockers

Lockers may be assigned to students at the discretion of the instructor in their particular work area. The assignment of lockers is a privilege, and the lockers remain the property of Columbus Technical College. The College retains possessory control of all student lockers, and the College Police Officers has the right to inspect student lockers at any time, as may be necessary or appropriate. When the College Police Officers has reasonable suspicion that a locker is being used to conceal anything illegal or any evidence of a violation of College policy or rules, he or she will exercise this right.

Public lockers for student use are available near the college bookstore for minimal fee.

Whenever practical, the College will notify students before their lockers are being inspected and will allow the students to be present. Students must open any personal possession in a locker at the request of the College Police Officers.
