Georgia Quick Start

Georgia Quick Start is a State of Georgia incentive designed to attract new industries and to motivate existing industries to expand their operations in Georgia. This partnership consists of three parties: the company, Columbus Technical College, and Georgia Quick Start. The program provides both pre-employment and post-employment training to various industry sectors: manufacturing, warehouse and logistics, national and international corporate headquarters, information-and technology-based companies, and service-industry operations.

Training is custom designed to meet specific company needs. Training can be delivered at the company’s location, at Columbus Technical College, or at a location provided by Quick Start. Training is scheduled to meet the start-up or expanding needs of each business as they occur.

Quick Start services are provided at NO COST to eligible companies. Eligibility is based on factors such as capital investment, impact on the local economy, number of new employees, employee wage rate, and community involvement.
