CH6831 CHM Dispensary 1
Two (2) shifts are required in the Chinese herbal dispensary at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. Students learn to identify and prepare bulk herbs, powders, granules, salves, tinctures, and patent medications as prescribed by clinicians for resale to patients. Emphasis is placed on sanitation, safety, and proper handling of herbs. The shifts can be taken at any time once a student has begun the herbal curriculum. It is recommended that students complete at least one dispensary shift prior to starting as a student herbal clinician.
