BC9134 Biology of Receptors
This course examines each of the major receptor types in humans with respect to their functions and regulation at the molecular, cellular, and whole body levels. Since many receptors are also drug targets, basic concepts of pharmacology will be introduced. The primary goal is to develop students’ knowledge of physiological regulation in humans at the molecular level.
