EXSC 200 Resistance Training Leadership

This course is designed to help students gain understanding of resistance training through understanding muscles joint actions and cues associated through method and application. Students will also be able to provide guidelines and practical experience for instructing safe, effective and purposeful strength and conditioning through a pre existing exercise program for apparently healthy participants.


Prerequisite: EXSC 190 or PEP 161 with a C or higher.


Exercise science majors may repeat only once. Open only to exercise science majors and kinesiology minors, coaching minors, and Teaching majors in Physical Education and Health.
