DANC 100 Dance Through Time and Culture
Investigation of various styles of dance through time and space will be to inform our understanding of various cultures. Dance will be discussed as a vehicle for storytelling, entertainment, religious and spiritual practice, commercialization and community engagement. Potential topics include Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Social Dances, Ballroom, Hip-hop, World Dance forms, Commercial dance, and Tap. Credit does not apply to Dance majors.
