PLAN 685 Planning Capstone Studio

In this course, students will execute a planning project of their own design, drawing on the proposal made in Planning Capstone Proposal, PLAN 684.

The capstone project is a culmination experience for students in the master's program. It is a yearlong course sequence in which students design and execute a unique planning project. Examples of projects include but are not limited to an impact analysis of a specific planning project; a public participation plan; a proposal for a land trust, or land bank, or embedded neighborhood planning department; a public arts and murals plan; an improved planning analysis in a transportation planning firm; or a physical plan for the redevelopment of a neighborhood or downtown. In Capstone Studio for Planning, students will execute research, information gathering, writing and other activities to complete the capstone project

Prerequisite: PLAN 684 with minimum grade of C.
