Athletic Training (B.S.)
The Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training requires 125 credit hours for graduation. The university requires includes 45 hours of residency, 36 advanced hours (junior/community college courses will not satisfy), 36 of the last 45 hours from UIW, 45 clock hours community service and computer literacy (test or course credit).
NOTE: To provide the student with the most current academic curriculum and to meet accreditation standards, the programs within the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions use the degree plan and catalog requirements on the date in which the student is admitted to the program and/or major, not the university matriculation date. Students who leave the program and/or major and are re-admitted must follow the degree plan and catalog requirements at the time of re-admission.
To fulfill the requirements for this degree program, the student must complete all undergraduate coursework, including the university core curriculum and the professional courses needed for the major. The following degree and support courses must have the grade of C or better.
