ACCT 201 Principles of Accounting 1

In this first accounting course, the purpose ad use of financial accounting is covered.  Along with basic accounting principles and assumptions, double-entry bookkeeping, basic business operational transactions, and impact of basic operating transactions on a business’s financial position are covered.  Students will be able to critically analyze a business’s financial position and operational results by the end of the course.
