YCST 3310 Children and the Welfare System

This course examines the child welfare system at the national, state, and local level. Topics include child abuse, substance abuse, adoption, human sex trafficking, foster care, and community-based resources. Students will distinguish appropriate community-based resources for children in the welfare system.
