PMIN 6339 Christian Tradition in the Americas 1500—Present

This course attends to the development of Christian traditions in the Americas from early missionaries to the present. The dynamic nature of initial encounters between European Christianity and the religiosity of the indigenous peoples will be emphasized, as will ongoing theological developments in light of seismic cultural and historical change.
