PHAR 4361 Community Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience
The Community Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience is the first part of a two-part series of an introduction to the formal internship experience. The course serves as the basis for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences. Students will apply knowledge and skills obtained in the classroom and laboratory to a pharmacy setting under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Prerequisite
Pharmacy students enrolled in their second professional year of study may be eligible to take this course. Additional prerequisites include a Texas Pharmacist-Intern License, successful completion of all site criteria, and consent of course coordinator.
Notes
The Community Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience is a required course for students in the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program.
